The House of Zafra is located near Carrera del Darro and is one of the “most beatiful streets in Europe”. It was built during the Nasrid period and later owned by Hernando de Zafra, secretary of the Catholic Monarchs. When he died, the House became a part of the Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena. Nowadays, it is the Interpretative Center of the Albaicín, showing everything in order for visitors to discover the most symbolic district of Granada, (a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO).
