Situated in the middle of the Costa Tropical, Salobrena rises proudly on a crag crowned by its mediaeval castle. Its striking architecture of white houses distributed over the crag contrasts with the intense greenery of the tropical agriculture surrounding it, and with the deep blue of the Mediterranean in the background.
The luxuriant tropical valley beneath the town enjoys a privileged ecosystem, thanks both to its southerly orientation, welcoming the wam temperatures rising from the African continental mass, and to the shelter provided by the Sierra Nevada wich rises to a height of more than three thousand metres, protecting it from northern winds.

The Villa de Salobreña Auditorium offers the opportunity to organize meetings, conventions, conferences, presentations and musical performances. Anphitheatrer capacity of 376 seets. Anteroom for the setting up of stands, seminars room for 60 people, and an open space for exhibitions in a modern complex whith the background of the Medieval Castle.
