Motril’s Preindustrial Sugar Cane Museum is unique in its kind due to its location, materials and multimedia didactical methods used. The town, its culture and its landscape have been linked to the processes of exploitation and manufacture of sugar cane for almost a thousand years. You will find original scale reproductions of mills and wooden presses as well as cooking and purging rooms. Furthermore, it preserves the oldest mill in Europe.
